Dave lives near Bournemouth, England, and earns a living through computer systems and network consultancy. He completed a BA (Hons) Interaction Design degree at Ravensbourne College in 2006, and is currently on the MA Typeface Design course at The University of Reading, from October 2007 to July 2009.

He is especially interested in the process of digital type design, and if you are interested in developing new type design software be sure to drop him an email.

His design philosophy centers around the parameterisation and automation of design to improve the design process, and some of his old ideas are published at designprocessed.com.
