From Open Font Library Wiki
Hi everyone,
I'm a volunteer with SIL International (http://scripts.sil.org), a world-wide NGO doing language-based development for minority language communities through linguistic research, translation and literacy. I have tons to learn, but in the meantime I'm contributing to i18n projects, especially in the area of collaborative open font design and complex script technologies.
I've been involved in the writing and the review of the community-approved Open Font License with VictorGaultney.
I've attended the first LGM in Lyon and advocated free/libre/open fonts at conferences like the WSIS, the RMLL, the GUADEC, the OpenOffice.org conference, the Ubuntu summit and will be giving a talk / organizing a BoF on open fonts and related subjects at the upcoming DebConf.
As a contribution to the growing open font movement, I maintain various open font packages in Debian and Ubuntu and I'm working with others on improving the availability and integration of open fonts - and their sources - on these free software platforms along with a richer open font design toolkit.

I'd like to contribute to OFLB in the following areas:
- Font catalogs
- contacting and advogating font freedom to designers (via the Go for OFL campaign for example)
- Licensing
- Tools
- Packaging
- Tutorials
- Font management.
