Individuals and organisations can financially support the Open Font Library project by donating to the TUG Libre Font Fund.
We are very grateful to TUG for taking care of the accounting issues for us. This is especially convenient for donors in the USA because TUG is a tax deductable charity.
Donors can remain anonymous, but one benefit is that your logo can be listed on our patrons page and your site linked to at the bottom of each page.
You can sponsor the development of a particular feature of the site, either your own idea or one already set out in our to-do list.
All funds go towards things that the community cannot achieve without sponsorship. For example, a funding drive for $12,000 was made in September 2008 that hired professional web designers and software developers to re-design the site into its current form, including the addition of the live and interactive font previewing features. The funding letter is available in plain text, PDF and LaTeX source formats.
