My 2nd entry corrected to change the text to a path so it will show up correctly if the font isn't on the host system. I've also added a true b/w version at the bottom.

I still think simplifying this one will make it better. I think also trying another character, other than X...maybe chinese character...the X looks like some type of X11 app icon... Still...super cool idea!

man that panda is really smart :P i agree with the panda tho, this logo has a great idea behind it...
