I kind of took the three circles as a cousin to the three squares of the open clip art project. I'm not sure the internationalization aspect will make for an appealing logo. Not that it isn't a reasonable thing to ask for, but IMO it's tough to convey that in an appealing way. I put the versions without the 'A' character as a 'non-denominational' option aka a cop-out ;)
