My 4th entry. I was playing around with a book motif. I learned a whole lot about nodes and curves doing this one ;)

I think this is the best one so far.

I like this one much, but fear it is too detailed. Could it be simplified even more? How woul it stand out in black and white? Cool!

The b/w version is at the bottom and it seems to work quite well IMO. I was thinking about how to simplify it and I might give it a try later tonight. I was thinking about chunkier characters and getting rid of the pseudo-reflections on the pages. I wanted it to maintain the perspective and curved pages, and was a bit worried about making it too square and blocky by simplifying. I'll give it a shot (or someone else can by any means).
