This is derived from my logo #3. The idea of a kernel wrapped in onion skin style layers seemed apparent in that logo, and so the "FL" part of the "OFLB" seemed to fit the bill as a kernel. I also split the O form in two to give a more three dimensional impression to the logo, and this also suggests that the shapes can be taken apart and put back together just as a child plays and learns. The FL is based on URW Bookman bold italic, a free software font, while the O form was created geometrically. I like the blues in the Tango palette included in recent Inkscape builds, used here.
