Winner Announced!
rfquerin won the logo competition with his fine entry, "Fontbook ES - Modified II"
Congratulations to rfquerin for winning the competition. You can already see the winning entry on the top of the webpage!
The Open Font Library (OFL.o) needs a logo to help identify the project. We want the community to help create this logo and three judges from the OFL.o will select the winning logo which we will use in all of our branding.
Contest Details
-
All submissions must be in the SVG format. If you don't have a SVG Graphics Editor, Inkscape is a great, free, Open Source cross-platform app that you can use.
-
Each submission must be placed into the public domain in accordance with the Creative Commons public-domain declaration.
-
Judging will take place by Alex Roberts (bovinity), Liftarn, and Zeimusu. Back-up judges for the contest are Andy Fitzsimon and Jon Phillips.
-
Anyone can submit to the contest (other than the judges of course!) with any number of submissions.
- All submissions must be received by March 14 at 11:59 PM of the server's time (PST).
- Judging will take place in the 5 days after the contest closes with an announcement happening shortly thereafter about the winner of the contest.
Guidelines
- The image of the logo should be distinct from the type of the name "Open Font Library" (see the Open Clip Art Library logo)
-
The logo should work internationally and not be restricted to only English language (latin) characters
-
It should be fax-able and work in black and white as well as color.
- Also, the logo should work well alongside and complement the Open Clip Art Library's logo.
The winner of the competition wins bragging rights and usage of the logo on all of our materials (website, releases, pr).
The winner will be notified no more than 7 days after the competition closes so that we can get on with using our great new logo.
Open Font Library Logo Contest is not taking submissions any more.
